Being Who I Am NOW

Being Who I Am
in the Moment
affects
the future.

Being
Aware
in the Present Moment
can be a turning point
for the rest of my life.

The very act
of stopping
and
nurturing moments of non-doing
of simply watching, observing, and being aware
changes my future.

Why?

Because it is only by
Being fully aware
in the present moment
that any future moments
might be ones
of greater understanding,
greater clarity,
greater kindness and compassion,
less dominated by fear and hurt and anger and guilt,
more based on dignity and acceptance and Love.

What happens Now
happens later.

When I am not Now
aware, compassionate, and accepting,
in the only moment that exists,
how likely will I be later
in moments under stress or duress?
